	HOPI SILVER OVERLAY EARRINGS Graceful pierced earrings using the silver overlay technique. The earrings are signed by the artist: Tony Kyasyousie with his initials, TK, and the “rabbit stick” symbol. They are also marked with the symbol for the Hopicrafts Guild shop where the artist worked. Tony Kyasyousie was a member of the Greasewood Clan and worked from 1969 until 1993. The necklace has a "STERLING" mark on top of a star shape, and a sideways M above a C inside a star shape. In The Encyclopedia of American Silver Manufacturers by Dorothy T. Rainwater & Martin and Colette Fuller this mark is attributed to Herbert Cockshaw, Jr.- New York, New York. Listed in 1904 as Howard & Cockshaw Company; Herbert Cockshaw successor in 1915 and Herbert Cockshaw, Jr. in 1936-37 in the Jobbers Handbook. Wonderful, unpolished condition. $199 Order #J00924
